Invisalign® aligners are virtually invisible retainers that are custom-made to fit snugly over your teeth. Each aligner shifts your teeth slightly, moving them horizontally and vertically and even rotating them when needed. Your aligners are engineered to use the right amount of force in the right place at the right time to straighten and enhance your smile.
If you are not satisfied with the shade of your teeth we can provide you with Phillips Zoom teeth whitening products. We have an in-office whitening system and a take-home whitening kit which includes custom made trays and the whitening gel. Our Zoom whitening gel is specially formulated to lighten your teeth without causing any tooth sensitivity.
Veneers are thin sheets of ceramic bonded to the surface of your teeth used to enhance the appearance of your smile. During the first appointment the front of the teeth are ground down slightly, an impression is made, and you are sent home wearing temporary veneers. At the second appointment the temporaries are removed and the final veneers are bonded into place.
If you are worried about cracked, broken, decayed, worn or missing teeth, Lakewood Dental Group can bring back your healthy, natural looking smile with crowns and bridges. A dental crown is a cap that covers the tooth after prepping the tooth to create space for the cap. A dental bridge is is a dental device that supports a tooth restoration, by using the adjacent teeth. Dental Implants can also support crowns and bridges. These types of cosmetic dental treatments are one of many different services provided by Dr. Patel and Dr. Sigurdson at Lakewood Dental Group in Dallas, Tx
When a large portion of natural tooth structure is lost due to damage, the remaining tooth structure is weakened and at risk of fracture. A crown is placed on the tooth to prevent pieces of the weakened tooth structure from fracturing off. When a tooth has had a root canal, a crown is usually placed to provide structural integrity to prevent fracturing of the remaining weakened tooth structure.
If you’re missing many teeth, we will help you decide if replacing them with a denture or partial is right for you. These prosthetics are removable but look very natural and can vastly enhance your appearance and chewing ability. We also can anchor them in place with implants to improve their stability and retention.
